Temporary road closures drivers should be aware of
At the beginning of the workweek, an intersection in Galesburg and a main roadway in Davenport will be temporarily closed.
According to the City of Galesburg the intersection of Beecher and Dudley will be closed starting Monday, October 21, 2013. Galesburg Sanitary District Plans to close it for sanitary sewer repair.
The intersection is expected to reopen on Wednesday.
In Davenport, also on Monday, Main Street will be closed from 2nd Street to 3rd Street. A contractor will be conducting underground utility installations. Work should be completed on Wednesday.
Drivers should follow any marked detours or find alternate routes during the closures.
