Police say four men face meth-related charges

Four area men are facing charges related to methamphetamine.

According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, 43-year-old Timothy Babbitt from Oneida, 54-year-old Vencon Davis from Galesburg, 46-year-old Alan Morgan from Wataga, and 24-year-old Travis Young from Abingdon allegedly conspired to manufacture and distribute meth around Knox County.

The sheriff’s department said that from May of 2012 to January of 2013 the four men conspired to make and sell meth and ICE meth.

Officials say Davis, Morgan and Young were in federal court on October 1, 2013 and Babbitt appeared on October 15.
