MOLINE, Illinois – It’s one of the Quad Cities biggest rivalries: Moline versus Rock Island.
Chef Brad Scott of Scott Community College brought together the mayors of Moline and Rock Island to challenge each other in a tailgating cook-off.
Mayor Dennis Pauley decided to feature shrimp and brats and Mayor Scott Raes worked with ribs and chicken drummies.
Chef Scott says when you tailgate, you must think ahead. He says our mayors did a great job and both are winners in this competition.
