A Rock Island company held an open house celebrating its recent expansion.

Crawford Company and Monoxivent hosted a ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday, October 10, 2013, for its customers, vendors, and suppliers to commemorate a recent expansion.

The expansion increased the facility by 20,000-sq. ft. and increased the employment to 105. The $1.7 million expansion included the building, landscaping, and additional parking.

Inside the newly constructed building is manufacturing, warehousing, shipping and receiving, and a training style classroom.

At the event on Thursday State Representative Pat Verschoore and Mayor Pauley were there to offer comments on the expansion. The company offered faculty tours, contests, prize drawings, games, and food.

Crawford Company is a heating, cooling, plumbing, laser cutting, and welding within industrial, commercial, and residential markets. Monoxivent produces indoor air cleaning systems within the U.S. and Canada.
