According to the Clinton Police Department on Thursday, October 10, 2013 around 7:15 p.m. a shooting was reported. When police arrived to the 300-block of S. 6th Street, they were unable to locate “anyone who had shot” or anyone who was injured.

Operations Commander Capt. William Greenwelt said that during the investigation, officers confirmed that there had been a verbal fight between several people. The altercation was followed by “several gunshots.”

Police said there have been no arrests made in the case.
