Arrest made in connection with Milan burglaries

Police have made an arrest in connection with a recent Milan burglary.

According to the Milan Police Department, 24-year-old Michael Bennett was arrested in connection with the early-October 2013 burglary at Meatheads Meat Market and the Scamper Inn Restaurant in Milan.

Police said Bennett has been charged with two counts of felony burglary.

According to Milan Police, the investigation led to another person, 19-year-old Elizabeth DePoorter, being charged with felony obstruction of justice.
