SHERRARD, Illinois — Police say three people were taken away in an ambulance for non-life threatening injuries after a car accident on Sunday, October 6th, 2013.
Investigators tell News 8 that around 5:45 p.m., a car was traveling southbound on 300th Street near 155th Avenue when it hit a deer. Officials say the deer then bounced off and hit another car traveling northbound.
Police had to shut down 300th Street near 155th Avenue to clean up the accident. The road was later reopened.
