The Channel Cat ended its 2013 season today.
On Sunday, October 6th, 2013, News 8 took a ride and talked with the pilot of Metrolink's water taxi.
Mike Blitgen says even though he makes the same stops every day, he loves the different groups of people that come on board.
"You never know who's going to be on here or what the atmosphere is going to be like," he says. "Sometimes it's really quiet and there's not even a peep out of anyone. Then all of a sudden, everbody's in a party mood and they're all talking over each other. It's just a lot of fun."
The Channel Cat will be back next year starting Memorial Day Weekend.
