Funeral and Benefit planned for David Harker

Funeral arrangements have been made for David Harker, as well as a benefit in his honor to support his family.

Listed on the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home website, Harker’s visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 3 p.m. – 8p.m. at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home in Rock Island.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 5 at 9 a.m. It will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Rock Island. The internment will be Saturday at Calvary Cemetery in Rock Island.

Donations will be accepted at a benefit planned to help support Harker’s wife and two children. The event will be held at St. Pius Farrell Hall in Rock Island on Friday, October 25 from 6 p.m. – 9p.m.

At the benefit a live raffle and silent auction will be held.

Contributions may be sent to Jessica Johannes, Benefit Chair, 1530-11th Street, Silvis, Illinois 61282. Donations may also be given to the David Harker Benefit Fund at all DHCUs.

    Its sad all around but how did he leave the bar and end up in the river.he ddidnt throw himself in it.dosent make sense. What happend??
