October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and several local events and activities are planned to recognize people affected by breast cancer.

The Susan G. Komen foundation offers free mammogram reminders to anyone who signs up – click here.

More than 25 General Mills brands are carrying pink Save Lids to Save Lives lids, and they donate ten cents to Susan G. Komen and its network of local affiliates for each lid received.  Find out how you can collect and redeem those lids – click here.
