MOLINE, Illinois – Financial advisor Phil Kassewitz says there will be a Wall Street impact from a government shutdown on Tuesday. How big the impact is depends on how long the shutdown lasts.
“Usually these shutdowns don’t last every long and that’s what the markets will be looking at,” Kassewitz said live during “Good Morning Quad Cities.”
“The markets are preparing for it and it will create uncertainty,” says Kassewitz.
He notes there have been 17 federal government shutdowns in history.
