Study says bullied kids more likely to report feeling sick

Kids may not always report it when they are the victims of bullying, but there are some physical signs that may speak for themselves.

Kids may not always report it when they are the victims of bullying, but there are some physical signs that may speak for themselves.

In a recently-published study that reviewed previous research involving nearly a quarter-million children, researchers found there is a connection between being bullied and psychosomatic illness.

The study found bullied kids were twice as likely to report feeling bad or sick.

The children complained of headaches, stomach and back aches, neck or shoulder pain even when there was no obvious explanation for the pain.

Researchers believe the unexplained problems may be a warning sign of bullying.
