(CNN) — In addition to a 30-month prison sentence, former Democrat Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. will now get to watch from afar as an auction sells off some items he forfeited when he pleaded guilty to misusing campaign funds.
According to a release from the U.S. Marshals Service, 13 items from Jackson’s fraud conspiracy case will be sold in an online auction that will go live Tuesday and will last one week.
For sale is a variety of fur coats as well as film and music memorabilia, including a guitar signed by Michael Jackson and Eddie Van Halen with an initial asking price of $525. Also up for grabs is a $350 framed color photo from Bruce Lee’s “Fist of Fury” that was signed by the martial arts legend.
Proceeds from the auction will go towards the $750,000 judgment against Jackson handed down Aug. 19 after the former representative pleaded guilty in February to using that amount of campaign funds for personal items and expenses.
The estimated combined value of all 13 items’ initial asking price is $3,330. Unless the items spark a bidding war, they’re not likely to make much of a dent in the three quarters of a million Jackson owes.
Jackson’s wife, Sandra Jackson, was sentenced in August to twelve months in prison for her role in the fraud case. She pleaded guilty in February to failing to report nearly $570,000 in taxable income from 2006 through 2011.
