A 23-year-old Clinton, Iowa man was hospitalized after he was stabbed multiple times.
Police said the stabbing happened just after midnight Monday morning, September 16, 2013 in the 500 block of 11th Avenue South. They were initially called to a report of a man bleeding there; they arrived to find the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The victim, who did not live at the address where he was found, was taken to an area hospital where he underwent surgery.
Police said they arrested 27-year-old Ismael Bautista Ramirez, who lives at the same address as the victim. Ramirez was held in the Clinton County Jail on a charge of willful injury causing bodily injury.
