Rainfall measured at Moline airport breaks dry streak

For the first time since early August, rainfall was seen at the Moline Quad City Airport.

On Wednesday, September 11, 2013, the National Weather Service reported light rain in Moline, Illinois shortly before 3 p.m. and again before 5 p.m.

StormTrack 8 reported that at Moline International Airport .09 inches of rain fell. The majority of the Quad Cities saw a 36-day streak of no rain until Wednesday’s sprinkle.
