A hot air balloon collided with power lines during an annual balloon rally in Macomb.
Thank you to Nicholas Stewart who shared video from the incident on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Macomb Balloon Rally. The video’s description indicated that the two people who were in the balloon were unharmed.
According to a dispatcher from the Macomb Police Department, the chief will be available for comment on Monday.
The Macomb Area Convention & Visitors Bureau website said the two-day event has been around since 1987.
