The Love and Kindness Tour started Friday, September 6. 2013 at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport.

The tour includes relics from forty Buddhist Masters from all over the world. Visitors will be able to participate in a blessing ceremony.

However, this is not a Buddhist event, this tour is about love and peace.

"Everybody wants happiness in our lives," said Amanda Russell, Relic Tour manager. "Nobody wants to be the angry person, the jealous person, the sad person, the depressed person, unfortunately this is our human experience and so it's an opportunity for us to cultivate love."

The tour has visited 67 countries and over 1.4 million people have visited the relics.

The exhibit is free to the public; the tour lasts through Sunday, September 8.
