Police wore protective gear as they pulled evidence related to making meth from a home in Dixon, Iowa.
Police executed a search warrant at the home, in the 200 block of Wood Street, at about 6:30 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2013.
A spokesperson for Iowa State Police said they found evidence of methamphetamine paraphernalia inside the home.
Scott County Sheriff Dennis Conard later said they found a "one-pot meth lab" inside the home, including Coleman fuel, salt, filters, lithium batteries, plastic tubing, chemicals, safety glasses, gloves and a hydrochloric gas generator.
Two men and a woman who reportedly live at the home were arrested. They are 45-year-old Bob Motz, 32-year-old Bryan Hall and 30-year-old and Morgan Rife. Conard said they were each charged with manufacturing meth and conspiracy to commit a non-forcible felony. Jail records show they were each held in the Scott County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond. Motz was also charged with hosting a drug house, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Nathan Russell, 25 and Cody Zahn, 21, were also arrested during the bust.
Russell was charged with conspiracy to commit a non-forcible felony and possession of synthetic marijuana. Police said he also had three outstanding warrants for his arrest. Jail records showed he was held in the Scott County Jail in lieu of $5,548.77 bond.
Zahn was charged with conspiracy to commit a non-forcible felony, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he also had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. Jail records showed he was held in the Scott County Jail in lieu of $6,300 bond.
