Police in Tipton, Iowa say they found a meth lab and other drugs during a bust in a home a few blocks from the Tipton Community School District property.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Lemon Street early Thursday morning, August 29, 2013.

Police said the homeowner was not there, but they did arrest two people who had been staying in the home.  Robert Lange, 37, and Deja Lange, 38, were arrested as police said they seized components of a meth lab from inside the house.

Police said Robert was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine near a school, possession of lithium and possession of pseudoephedrine.  Deja was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robert and Deja Lange were both held in the Cedar County Jail.
