Vandalism resulted in tires of 14 cars being slashed in one Moline neighborhood.

Residents in the Uptown neighborhood discovered their tires slashed Wednesday morning, August 28, 2013.  Police say that 14 cars, parked on the side of the street, had their tires slashed in the 1300 block of  15th St. A.

The cars hit were all within a two block radius of one another.

Some had the tires slashed on curb side of the vehicle, while others had tires slashed on the side opposite the curb.  Many of the 14 had multiple tires slashed too.

James Durkee says he was about ready to leave for work when he came outside and found his tires slashed.  He believes he'll probably have to replace the tires himself.

Moline Police are looking for a skinny white male they believe was involved. They're not releasing any more information at this time.
