A Mt. Carroll man was airlifted to a hospital after he reportedly crashed an ATV into a tree.
Police said 24-year-old Shawn Miller was on an ATV traveling south on Schmidt Road in Carroll County when the ATV went off the road and hit a tree near Meyers Road. The wreck happened just after 8 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2013.
Miller was taken by ambulance to a helicopter which airlifted him to a hospital in Rockford.
