Two Des Moines County, Iowa men were arrested and charged after they allegedly were found with items stolen in recent burglaries.

Konnor Meth, 20, of Mediapolis and Codey Anderson, 20, of West Burlington, face several felony charges after police said they found several stolen items at a home in West Burlington in late July 2013.

Police stopped short of confirming whether or not the items they found were connected to multiple burglaries reported in Burlington or to a string of burglaries reported in Mediapolis in July.

Police did confirm both men would face charges in connection with thefts from an address on West Mt. Pleasant Street and on N. Gear Avenue, for a burglary on Brushtown Road and for multiple burglaries at another address on N. Gear Avenue.

Meth and Anderson were each charged with two counts of second-degree theft and four counts of third-degree burglary.

Both men were held in the Des Moines County Jail.
