Police hope someone can help them identify two women they say stole a box of money donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The box reportedly stolen at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013 from the Hardee’s at 1930 State Street.
Police said one woman distracted the store manager as another took the box from the counter near a cash register and walked out of the store.
Both women were described as being in their late twenties. One was described as five-feet eight-inches tall with a “stocky” build. The other woman wore eyeglasses and was described as five-feet six-inches tall with a slender build and a scar on her left cheek.
