After losing its world record-holding status to Indiana, Iowa is once again in hot pursuit of the world record for the most people to simultaneously stop, drop and roll.

Iowa set the record at the 2011 Iowa State Fair when 1,519 participants did the infamous fire safety move at the same time. Before that, the record was held by Bedford, Indiana whose 602 participants stopped, dropped and rolled.

The Associated Press reports Indiana took back bragging rights in when Indianapolis broke Iowa’s record with more than 1,700 people participating at an event held by the city’s fire department.

The Iowa Speedway is offering discounted $15 adult admission tickets and a free t-shirt to the first 2,500 participants to show up for their attempt to reclaim the record for Iowa.  The event happens at the Iowa Speedway in Newton on Saturday, September 7, 2013.
