It was a night of celebration at Modern Woodmen Park as River Bandits fans came together to celebrate the park being named the best in the country.

However, its just one reason why the Bandits are celebrating wins both on and off the field.

Monday, August 19, 2013 was a great night for baseball fans, but it's been an even greater year for Modern Woodmen Park.  It was voted the best minor league park in the country.

On top of that, the River Bandits had two number-one draft picks.  One face behind their success is Modern Woodmen's executive director, Stefanie Brown.

Brown has worked for the team for six seasons now.  She has had her own success, she has been honored three times as the Midwest League's female executive of the year.  In 2011 she was promoted to general manager, making her the first female GM in the Quad Cities franchise's history.

"It's a great honor, it's something that was a career goal of mine and I'm happy to accomplish that," said Brown.

Stefanie says its just the beginning of changes to come.

On Tuesday, August 20, tickets are buy one get one free.
