Police say a lengthy investigation led them to charge a Rock Falls man with more than a dozen counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving juvenile victims.
A parent accused Daniel Hale, 20, of having an ongoing sexual relationship with their child in March 2013. Investigators believe Hale victimized one person between 13 and 16 years of age and one person under 13 years of age.
Hale was arrested Thursday, August 15, 2013 at his home in Rock Falls. Hale was charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and 14 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Hale was held in the Whiteside County jail in lieu of $250,000 bond.
