Pair sought for Aledo home invasion

Police say one person was hurt and items stolen when several people forced their way into a home in Aledo, Illinois.

The break-in was reported just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013.  Police said several people forced their way into a home, assaulted a man and stole items from the house.

The victim was taken to an area hospital by ambulance.

Aledo Police Chief J. Michael Sponsler said investigators were searching for 55-year-old Larry T. Rhoden, of East Moline, Illinois and 44-year-old Karen C. Clark of Clarinda, Iowa in connection with the case.  Rhoden and Clark each faced charges of home invasion and felony theft, with a bond of $200,000.
