A Kentucky man died when he was apparently run over in the parking lot of a truck stop in Walcott, Iowa.
Emergency crews were called to investigate a report of a man down in the parking lot of the Iowa 80 truck stop just before 6:30 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013. They arrived to find the body of 29-year-old Leo Cox, from Barbourville, Kentucky.
Police said Cox was between a semi tractor and trailer when the semi pulled forward and ran over him. He died of his injuries.
The semi driver, another man from Kentucky, was not charged.
