Police say they think the man arrested minutes after a Davenport credit union robbery is also linked to a similar robbery that happened about a month earlier.
Duane Maulding, 51, was arrested after police said they spotted him in a car connected to a robbery that had just happened at DuTrac Credit Union on Friday morning, August 9, 2013. Police said Maulding matched the description of the robbery suspect.
Police said when they searched Maulding's home they found evidence linking Maulding to the July 2, 2013 robbery of the Ascentra Credit Union branch on 53rd Street in Davenport.
Police said Maulding was held for violating parole as he awaits a grand jury hearing for the DuTrac Credit Union robbery.
