Davenport, Iowa’s long-time City Administrator will be staying there a little longer, after being turned-down for a job in Ankeny.
Craig Malin was in the running for the City Manager position for Ankeny, Iowa. On Wednesday, August 7, 2013 the Ankeny city council announced they chose David Jones for the job, leaving Malin to his current position in Davenport.
Malin was one of six finalists for the job in Ankeny. The chosen manager, David Jones, is coming to Ankeny from Polk Conty, most recently serving as their county administrator.
