About 50-miles west of Iowa City, Iowa on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 a semi-trailer came upon traffic too quickly around 3 p.m., according to Iowa State Police. The truck clipped a car and struck the fuel tank of a second semi- which started the fire.

One of the semi drivers was taken to an area hospital, along with a woman and two children who were in the car that got clipped.
