The City of Rock Island is looking for community feedback to create a long-term plan to serve as the City’s official guide.
A survey is being launched on the City’s website collecting opinions on community growth, development, and policy. According to a spokesperson from the City of Rock Island, the plan developed will serve as a blueprint for City staff and local decision makers.
“Receiving community feedback is extremely valuable to have during the early stages of a planning process,” said Mayor Dennis Pauley. “We encourage residents to take advantage of this opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions about the present and future state of our City.”
The survey will be offered throughout the month of August. Anyone who does not have access to a computer, but would like to take the survey can do so at any of the three Rock Island Public Library branches as well as the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center.
