Parents in the Davenport Community School District can register their students for class Wednesday.

The district is also promoting a new website where parents can find out what school their child is supposed to go to under the new boundaries. As previously reported though, the school district is allowing most children to stay in their old school, if they'd like, for the upcoming year.

The district is using a program called NCompass on its website now. Parents can type in their address into the program, and NCompass will show you what school your child is supposed to go to. To see the program, click here.

Registration for all elementary and intermediate students starts at noon Wednesday and goes until 6 p.m. All high school students can register at North and Central High Schools on Wednesday too. Their registration goes from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Everyone but freshman can register at West High School Wednesday. Their registration goes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
