An Allegiant Air flight from Cedar Rapids made an emergency landing before reaching its intended destination in Florida.

Allegiant Air flight 863 left Cedar Rapids at about 6 p.m. local time Sunday, July 28, 2013.  The flight was headed to Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida.

When an indicator light reportedly showed possible fire in the plane’s cargo hold, the crew decided to make an emergency landing in Albany, Georgia just before 9 p.m.

All 155 passengers and six crew members got off the plane safely.

Allegiant Air says all of the passengers were bussed to St. Petersburg.

An FAA spokeswoman says no fire was found on the plane.
