A Milan, Illinois animal shelter is offering a limited time reduced price for people adopting a dog.

According to a spokesperson, the Quad City Animal Welfare Center (QCAWC) is offering half-price dog adoptions from Friday, July 26 – Sunday, July 28 for dogs one year or older.

The shelter is completely full of dogs looking to be adopted, so during this three day period, the price will be reduced from $100 to $50.

All dogs have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccinations, micro chipped, and heartworm tested, according to the shelter’s executive director.

The QCAWC is open from Monday – Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. On Wednesday, the shelter is open an additional hour and on Sunday the shelter closes at 4 p.m.
