President Barack Obama is scheduled to speak at Knox College in Galesburg on Wednesday, July 24, 2013.

The president’s remarks are expected to focus on the American economy.

The Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce asked business leaders to share their questions and concerns in an online survey in advance of the president’s visit.

President Obama was expected to deliver his remarks at The Memorial Gym on the campus of Knox College just before noon Wednesday.

A limited number of free, public access tickets were being made available on a first come, first served basis.  One ticket per person was available starting at 1 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Office of Communications on the campus of Knox College, 311 South Prairie Street in Galesburg.
