Two burglaries were reported near Burlington, Iowa just days after a string of burglaries in Mediapolis.
According to the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Department, items were reported stolen from two Wever, Iowa households within a block of each other on July, 18, 2013.
In the 17800-block of Augusta Mill Road, gas, gas cans, and cash were reportedly stolen out of a garage. In the 17800-block of Skunk River Road, beer and a shotgun shell bag were reported stolen out of a shop.
The Mediapolis burglaries included thefts of gas cans, power tools, and a purse stolen out of a car.
