State Representative Tyler Olsen was in Davenport holding a campaign event.
The 37-year-old Cedar Rapids-native is campaigning for his run for governor, likely against democratic State Senator Jack Hatch in the primary.
Olson planned to make a visit to the Fresh Deli by Nostalgia Farms in the Freight House.
Currently, Olson is serving his fourth tern in the Iowa House. Early childhood education, healthcare, and job creation are main issues on his platform. He is also vice president of Paulson Electric, a local business started by his great-grandfather.
