A relief fund is set up to offer help to victims of a fire that destroyed buildings and businesses in downtown Prophetstown, Illinois.

Fire destroyed eight buildings that housed businesses and apartments on Washington Street before dawn Monday, July 15, 2013.

Two boys, ages 16 and 12, were arrested July 16 in connection with the fire.

Donations to a fund targeted at helping the fire victims are being accepted at Farmer’s National Bank locations in Geneseo, Morrison and Prophetstown.
