Police discovered over 200 pounds of cocaine in a vehicle during a traffic stop.

According to the Illinois State Police, on a weekday morning the week of Monday, July 15, 2013 narcotics agents were doing a drug investigation in Cook County, when they received information about a suspicious vehicle heading to Chicago.

Officials say troopers working with the agents stopped the 2005 Toyota Tacoma truck in Stone Park, Illinois after it violated a traffic law. A police canine sniffed out about 220-pounds of cocaine stored in rubber tubs in the truck bed.

Police also found about $15,000 inside the pick-up truck.

The driver was arrested and taken to the Northlake Police Department for further investigation.
