Davenport Police App

Police in Davenport, Iowa hope their new app will help them better connect with the community to help solve and prevent crime.

The app, which they call “Do What’s Right,” officially launched Monday, July 15, 2013.

A carousel menu on the app homepage allows users to connect with police via Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and the department’s website.  App users can also report problems and submit tips to help solve crimes.

Developers are working to connect with app users via a blog and to allow app users to sign up for emergency alerts targeted to the area of Davenport in which they live or work.

“Do What’s Right” is available as the City Connect app for Davenport.  The app is free via iTunes and for Android via Google Play.
