Summerhays finishes top ten at JDC

Daniel Summerhays led the final round of the 2013 John Deere Classic for much of the afternoon, but ended the tournament in the top ten.

Daniel Summerhays led the final round of the 2013 John Deere Classic for much of the afternoon, but ended the tournament in the top ten. Summerhays finished the weekend at 18-under par.

The Utah-native finished Round one at TPC Deere Run at six-under par with six birdies.

He made another six birdies during Round two, but also hit two bogeys, giving him a tournament standing of 10-under par.

Even more for his Round three, Summerhays made ten birdies and hit one bogey, standing at 19-under par and in the lead going into the final round of the weekend.

Round four started off rough for Summerhays as he birdied one and hit four bogeys on the front nine.

On the back nine Summerhays birdied four and hit two bogeys. He was one-above par for the day.
