Work on 18th Street and on Tanglewood Road could slow motorists in Bettendorf starting Monday, July 15, 2013.
Tanglewood Road will be closed at Devils Glen Road at the west end of Bettendorf. The closure is part of a project to rebuild that intersection, and the closure is expected to last about ten days, depending on the weather. Tanglewood Road traffic will be detoured to use Tanglewood Hills Drive and Tanglewood Lane.
Crews will close some lanes of 18th Street between Mississippi Boulevard and Sunset Drive as part of a pavement patching project. Two-way traffic will be maintained by alternating traffic in each direction past the work zone. The narrow traffic pattern is expected to stay in place for about five weeks.
