Zach Johnson finished the day in third at 16-under par.  Defending champion of the John Deere Classic made an impressive start to the day when he eagled on hole two.

A bogey on hole five set him back a bit, but not enough to keep him from being a contender in the leaderboard. That bogey was his first bogey in 62 holes at the John Deere Classic.

On hole 14, Johnson birdied from 53 feet away. A total of one eagle, four birdies and two bogeys gave him a Round three total of 67 at four -under par for the day.
