From the Pro-Am to Round one at the John Deere Classic, birdies were in full supply.
The Birdies for Charity program gives money to charities for every birdie made.
In Round one, on Thursday, July 11, 583 birdies were made, and in the Pro-Am on Wednesday, over 200 were made.
According to the John Deere Classic event site, 100-percent of every Birdies for Charity dollar goes to charity.
From the 2012 John Deere Classic, 2,113 birdies were recorded, generating $6.79 million for participating non-profit organizations.
