A welding company worker fell more than 30 feet from a ladder while he was helping to build a large steel tank in Burlington, Iowa.
Workers were building a large steel tank for the Burlington River Terminal, at 500 Cash Street, when an employee of A & B Welding and Manufacturing, of Thompson, Iowa reportedly fell between 32 and 40 feet to the bottom of the tank around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013.
The injured man was airlifted by helicopter ambulance to a hospital in Iowa City.
