Morrison Plays Pro-Am Day; results at JDC 2013

Pro-Am Day at the 2013 John Deere Classic saw a tie for the top spots as the first few teams completed the course.

Pro-Am Day at the 2013 John Deere Classic was a day of competition, but mostly for some fun out at Deere Run.

WQAD's spot in the Pro-Am tournament went to QC Honor Flight director, Bob Morrison. Morrison and his team golfed with pro, Charley Hoffman.

Morrison said there were some good shots, and some not so good ones but the course was beautiful and the weather was great.

"It's been a very special experience. I don't feel like I deserve it," said Morrison, coming off the 18th hole. "I'm very humbled."

Morrison's team tied for 26th with a total score of 59.

"The group was great, everybody was cheering each other on," he said.

Winner of the Pro-Am tournament was Jason Bohn's team at 20 under par, followed by Zach Johnson's team in second place at 18 under.
