Keegan Bradley joins John Deere Classic field

Previous PGA Champion and the 2011 Rookie of the Year, Keegan Bradley will make his debut at the 2013 John Deere Classic.

Previous PGA Champion and the 2011 Rookie of the Year, Keegan Bradley will make his debut at the 2013 John Deere Classic.

Keegan has an Official World Golf Ranking of 16. According to a spokesperson from the John Deere Classic, Keegan makes a total of 10 players currently ranked in the top 50 Official World Golf Rankings, and 53 within the top 100 in FedEx Cup points.

“We are very excited to welcome Keegan Bradley to our field and to our community for the first time,” said John Deere Classic tournament director, Clair Peterson. “Keegan is a leading light among the many bright young stars in our field this year, and we are delighted he has decided to join us.”

In 2012, Bradley teamed up with Phil Mickelson went 3-0 at the Ryder Cup. Bradley finished with a 3-1-0 record, same as 2012 John Deere Classic Champion, Zach Johnson, from Iowa City, Iowa.

156 players will compete in the JDC tournament beginning Thursday, July 11.
