House near Clinton severely damaged after fire

A fire that broke out at a home north of Clinton, Iowa began in the garage, according to a responder.

The fire began around 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2013 on 135th Street.

At 4:30 p.m. the fire was under control but crews were still on site. Eight departments responded to the blaze.
