Stabbing Suspect Charged with Attempted Murder

A Port Byron woman was charged with attempted murder, two weeks after allegedly stabbing a woman in the back several times.

According to the  charges, Brandi Hudson, 35, stabbed a 53-year-old woman four times.

As we previously reported, the stabbing occurred around 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Falcon Farms on 214th Street in Port Byron, Illinois.

There was no indication as to what led to the stabbing.

Hudson waived her preliminary hearing Tuesday and is in jail on $500,000 bond. She is due back in court next month.
